Childhood Joys of the Library

Filed under: book related — Honilima @ 7:29 am

How have library books influenced my life?

I was always a curious child. I had a million questions for every answer that was patiently provided. Books took me into new worlds and allowed me to explore so much outside my immediate environment. My weekly visits to the library left me with a confidence that I could find the answers and profoundly influenced my view of education. Reading about worlds beyond my own allowed me an expanded vision of humankind. I am forever grateful to authors and their books for sharing so much with me and providing answers to my infinite questions. I will leave this earth with a stack of books by the bed—and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
