Inmates Get Father-Daughter Dance in Prison

If you don’t think that one person can make a difference, stop for eight minutes and listen to Angela Patton’s moving TED talk about a father daughter dance in prison she made happen. It is a very moving story. She has worked for over a dozen years with the group Camp Diva: “CAMP DIVA is a non-profit organization that provides summer and after school programs geared toward helping girls ages 11-17 through the various issues they face during their passage into womanhood. Although our programs do have an emphasis on African American culture, girls of all ethnic backgrounds can benefit from our programs.”

One person can make a difference. What have you done today to make someone’s life better?
